Sharon Bassett
Sharon is a Senior Web Designer and Developer at Market Hardware in Bethesda, MD, owner of June Studios, and a part-time coworker.
Standards-based Web development and CSS are Sharon’s “thing.” She advocates them religiously and has recently added DOM Scripting and JavaScript to her arsenal. She thrives on the collaboration with other developers and has authored/established various development guides, frameworks, UIs , processes and standards, all in an effort to find that steady pulse that helps her team do things better and faster.
This summer, Sharon was accepted, with honors, into the art program at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). She is having a wonderful time getting her heart, mind and hands into art and design in a more traditional sense and absolutely loves being encompassed by the Bright Creatives who surround her in their groovy space in Old Town Winchester. Sharon makes her home in Winchester with her fiancé, Michael.
