Caleb Nei
Caleb has been in the Winchester area since coming here in 2001 after finishing his degree in church music from Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana.
Since coming to Winchester, Caleb has taught piano for the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy, played jazz in most of the area restaurants and country clubs (either solo or as a member of Jazz Alibi), helped to start Emmaus Church in Berryville (where he’s still the Worship Arts Director), started the fantastic musical marvel that is Stereoreel, helped lead the monthly community worship event known as CrossLink, helped launch Uber S’More Productions, had two more children (to add to the one he brought with him), 2009 burrito-eating progress.
Caleb has a home office (with a desk) and another office at the church (also with a desk). He spends his Fridays at Bright Cowork because he appreciates the opportunity to spend an entire day focused on one thing: ShopSheetMusic.com. His latest venture, it’s a site that offers easy piano arrangements of children’s songs, hymns, holiday songs and classical melodies to beginning students of all ages. Not only do Fridays bring a special focus, but they give him the chance to hang out with brilliant, motivated people.
Caleb spends his spare time with his wife at Sucilee’s House of Thai (she tolerates burritos, but loves sushi).
